So you want a piece all your own?

   I am available for hire on a limited basis. I am limited by time due to school, work, or other commissions. My availability will be posted on this page as well as the home page.
   When requesting a commission please describe (as accurately as possible) what the animal is, general pose, and the size of the requested painting. I request that photo references be provided for me to work from.
   Prices for commissioned work vary according to size, detail, and the complexity of the painting.

Basic flat rate estimates for approximate sizes (these are negotiable!!)
4"x6" postcard sized- $10
Small (8"x10"-ish) $30
Medium (11"x14"-ish) $40
Large (24"x36" or larger) $100

   I can work in watercolor, acrylic, and oil paint. The type of paint does add to the flat rates, oil paint being the most expensive of the three. Oil paint costs me more and takes the most amount of time to use. I am sure you can understand. Often I will mix the types of paint to achieve really awesome effects on the piece, don't worry I don't charge extra for my creative decisions.
   Reptiles and amphibians are my preferred subjects. That said, it's not often I accept requests for birds, mammals, or people. I don't enjoy painting them and that shows in the painting. I don't like selling a piece I am not 100% satisfied with, because you deserve nothing but my best.
