Here is a place I'd like to post some thanks, acknowledgement, and let you know some really cool people.

Myles Van Camp- My beloved partner and soulmate. He is my major motivator when I doubt myself in anyway. He has been my right hand man in keeping me focused on my business goals. He's the excessively happy person at the table greeting folks when I'm distracted doodling or away taking photos for future paintings.

Mom, Dad, Steph, my cat, and my unbelievably huge family which would take pages to list and personally thank. My family is awesome, understanding, and supportive. Boy did they think I was weird with the dragon and reptile thing when I was younger. But after I've shared my herp hunting experiences they have really gotten into it, even if some are kinda herp-a-phobic.

Mitch Surpernant- My wonderful website provider, for he is awesome, provided me a place to share my work, and has put up with my pestering. Thanks for keeping this place running and providing me with excellent software that makes this place a little more awesome

Brian Wussow- My very impressive photographer and printing partner. Without his help, I doubt I would have gotten off the ground. He's been a joy to work with and if you're around the Chicago area and looking for some portraits, he's your guy!

Leia Nelson- My partner in art crime. We met in college and were both obsessed with Biology. I enjoyed the herpetological end with my dragon and reptile works. She's very much a fan of mammals and creates really cool anthropomorphic works (aka were-wolves/tigers/etc). We inspire each other and love to goof off broadcasting our creative process at Ustream.tv.

Chicago Herpetological Society- One of the best things in Chicago! I'm proud to be a part of this awesome group, which has focused on educating folks about proper reptile care. They also work very very hard on the rescue and rehabilitation of reptiles and amphibians. Check out a meeting sometime, they bring in researchers and folks out in the field to speak about all the super cool things going on with reptiles and amphibians

Wildlife Discovery Center- A really cool conservation program with an incredible display of venomous and non-venomous reptiles. Many of those animals are rescues from careless keepers. They are there to enlighten folks that snakes are an important part of the food web, plus these animals are really really cool to look at up close. Many of my photo references came from a visit there, so go visit the stars of my portraits!

Uro Ranch- This newly developed site is dedicated to my very favorite pet; the Uromastyx Lizards. The founder was very generous to display my fast sketch of Mr. Jak. Give them a visit! Soon it will be filled with quick reference care, breeding tips, articles, data from the wild, CB and WC Uromastyx for sale, as well as an impressive collection of Uromastyx art. I am happy to say I made new artist friends from the visit.

Mpix.com- Got to hand it to these folks, they do a great job making my business cards and their customer service is amazing. No I'm not getting paid to say this, I'm just spreading the word about a company that is such a crucial part of my business

And obviously I'd like to acknowledge all my patrons and customers alike. Because your interest helps me stay a well fed lizard.
